About Daud Bandagi Hospital

Daud Bandagi Hospital is a modern, up-to-date healthcare facility which is treating patients as best it can. DBH was inaugurated in January, 2017, with a commitment to provide excellent healthcare at highly subsidised rates.

Founded in 1976, Anjuman Khudam-e-Rasool Allah *(AKRA) has a rich legacy of over 45 years of dedicated service to the deserving. It had a humble beginning, at the core of which lay the principle to selflessly serve the people of Shergarh in the sectors of health and education.

What started as a small dispensary venture has now grown into a complete medical center, by God’s grace and coordinated team work.

Introduction to AKRA

Anjuman Khuddam-e-Rasool Allah is a community -based Non Governmental Organisation (NGO), established in 1976 in Shergarh, at the heart of District Okara. AKRA has a reputation in the surrounding area for providing high -quality education & health to the disadvantaged areas of Shergarh on highly subsidised terms. The Anjuman is also well-known for providing  aforementioned facilities at affordable cost and its role as a social welfare organisation in and around Shergarh.

The late Syed Muhammad Mohsin was the founder member of AKRA. Comprising the local people of Shergarh, AKRA has overseen all the educational and health projects that the Mohsin Trust has initiated and endowed.

Seed money for the Trust came through endowments made by the family but over the years significant donations have been made by private individuals and charitable organisations, both at home & abroad. Building a Mother & Child Health Center  (MCHC)was a dream of the late Mrs. Sitwat Mohsin, the Trustee of Mohsin Trust. It was designed mainly for mother & child care but now it is increasingly engaged in general medical activities.
